Introductory presentation on developmental biology and the running of a scientific congress
– Welcome students and brief introduction to the conference.
– Explanation of the poster session concept:
o What is a “poster session”?
o Why organize poster sessions?
o How is a scientific poster structured?
o How to interact with a researcher during a poster session
o What’s in it for high school students?

12:45 – 01:30pm
Educational poster session
– Volunteer scientists will present their work in the form of posters, in a pedagogically appropriate way for high-school students. 
– We’ll be awarding prizes for the best “general public” poster! 

01:30 – 02:00pm
Immersion poster session
– High school students can move around freely and attend a poster session under real-life conditions.
