WELCOME TO THE 3RD CELL LA VIE !

The meeting “Cell la vie!”, organized by the French Society for Cell Biology, will take place at the Pasteur Institute in Paris from October 21–23, 2026. This edition will focus on the needs and challenges of multidisciplinary research in cell biology that integrates state-of-the-art imaging, biochemistry, physics, and advanced computational analysis—including AI-driven data processing—to explore the fundamental mechanisms of life. Particular emphasis will be placed on how recent breakthroughs in multiscale microscopy have transformed cell biology, enabling researchers to bridge molecular, cellular, and tissue-level investigations with unprecedented precision and depth.

During the conference, presentations from prestigious invited speakers and selected short talks will cover recent findings on a broad range of topics organized around 7 scientific sessions:

– Cell adhesion and environment in homeostasis and disease
– Origin and evolution of cellular complexity
– Membrane dynamics, trafficking and biomolecular condensates
– Cellular interfaces: from cell communication to host micro-organism crosstalk
– Cytoskeleton and cellular dynamics
– Mechanobiology across scales
– Frontiers in cellular imaging: from subcellular structures to multi-cellular systems
