OUTREACH
OUTREACH ACTIVITIES are presented over two consecutive days October 15th and 16th at two different locations. Conference attendees and the general public are welcome !
OFF-SITE: All day on Tuesday, October 15th at the Resource Center “Le Petit Robespierre” in Ivry-sur-Seine.
Scientific mediation workshops will be offered between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM to students from the last year of kindergarten to 5th grade :
- The embryonic development of animals (kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade)
- The development of plants and their needs (1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade)
- In Search of Bio (3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade)
In the Robespierre space between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, 3rd to 5th-grade students will be welcomed for:
- An exhibition “The Unknown in Us: The Secret Life of the Cytoskeleton” designed by Zdenek Lansky and Jan Sabo
- Observations of cells of different shapes (foldable microscopes)
- 3D coloring activities of cellular compartments
The day for school groups will be followed by the opening of the exhibition to the general public starting at 4:30 PM. The exhibition will remain accessible to leisure centers and schools until November 8.
